Jerry Shen, M.D., is a long-time Tucsonan and graduate of the University of Arizona. He earned his medical degree from Temple University and completed a family medicine residency at the University of Alabama. As a family physician, Dr. Shen practices the full spectrum of primary care. He has a strong interest in preventing chronic conditions and helps patients create a health plan that fits their lifestyle. Dr. Shen emphasizes the importance of health maintenance and encourages patients to receive annual health screenings. "Periodic screenings give doctors and patients the opportunity to review overall health, make changes and catch a health challenge early." Dr. Shen appreciates the strong sense of community in Southern Arizona, and he eagerly returned to the Old Pueblo after residency.
