Diana Honebrink, M.D., is a pediatrician who considers working with children and their families an honor and a privilege. "I strive to provide a medical home for my patients that emphasizes the highest quality care provided in an honest, caring and fun manner with education and encouragement at its heart, and healthy children and families as its goal," she said. She is particularly interested in encouraging family life, caring for athletes and working with schools. She believes that strong families who value and encourage one another are the foundation for physical, mental and spiritual health. Dr. Honebrink understands the value of hard work, honesty, loyalty, responsibility and integrity. "These qualities were embedded in my childhood and have shaped my life. As a Peace Corps volunteer, I learned the true joy of service. Medicine became the vehicle for that service because of encouragement from my college chemistry professor." Dr. Honebrink was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in natural science from Concordia College in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota. She moved to Tucson after completing a pediatric residency program in Phoenix.
